About Nick Jensen and nickspics.net About this siteI first started this site in early 2005 to embarrass the shit out of my friends and myself. It still serves this purpose today! I also use it to put other photos that people might find interesting, such as any traveling I have the opportunity to do. About me My name's Nick Jensen, I'm 24 years old and live in inner city Sydney. I moved here about 18 months ago from Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches, where I grew up. I'm in a long term relationship with someone whom I adore. I work in IT for an Australian telecommunications company. When I'm not at work, you can probably find me getting drunk at some bar or party; you'll find pics of these escapades on this site! You can also find me on Twitter and Facebook. My photographic equipment The majority of photos from parties on this site are taken with a point and shoot ultra-compact digital due to convenience. The site started off with photos taken using my Canon Ixus 50, however that broke and I got a new Canon Ixus 800IS, which I subsequently lost in a bar while quite drunk one night. I then used its successor, the Canon Ixus 850IS until I decided to upgrade to what I currently use, the Canon Ixus 100IS. There are also some older photos that have been scanned in from photos taken with film based cameras. I've been really getting into digital SLR photography over the past few years. I started out with a Canon EOS 350D, and just recently I've upgraded to a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. I have three lenses for it right now, the Canon EF 24-105mm F/4L IS lens, the Canon EF 70-300mm DO IS lens and the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lens. Almost all the travel photography on this site since 2006 has been shot with an SLR. I have also begun geotagging my photographs, which means that most of my newer photos contain metadata about the exact coordinates on Earth that the photo was taken. Technical information This site will look best when viewed with either Internet Explorer 7 or above, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
